1. Introduction

Welcome to Age My Baby, an AI-powered image generation application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. By using Age My Baby, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in this policy.

2. Information Collection

We collect information in several ways:

  • Personal Identification Information: This may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, and contact details when you register for an account, subscribe to a newsletter, or contact customer support.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you access and use our Service, including the dates and times of your visits, the pages viewed, and other similar information.
  • Image and Input Data: We process the images and text inputs you provide solely to generate your results. Uploaded photos are not retained: they are processed transiently and deleted no later than the moment your result is generated (video inputs are held only for the minutes a render takes, then deleted automatically). To produce results, your images and prompts are processed by third-party AI service providers, such as OpenAI (for image generation and content moderation) and Replicate (for video generation), each acting as a service provider on our behalf. Generated results are stored on Google Cloud Storage servers in the United States for a maximum of 24 hours, after which they are deleted automatically. Your images are not used for identification, authentication, advertising, or profiling, and are not sold. You may request deletion of your images at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: Age My Baby uses cookies, beacons, tags, and other tracking technologies to enhance user experience and gather usage data.

3. Use of Information

Your information is used for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service
  • To personalize your experience
  • To improve customer service
  • To process transactions and manage accounts
  • To send periodic emails for updates or promotions
  • To comply with legal requirements

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information with:

  • Service Providers: Third parties who perform services on our behalf, such as AI service providers (for example OpenAI, which processes uploaded images and prompts to generate images and run content moderation, and Replicate, which processes images to generate videos), payment processors such as Stripe, and infrastructure providers such as Google Cloud (authentication, storage and hosting).
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law or in response to legal processes.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, or acquisition.

5. AI Data Processing: How We Process Your Photos

Age My Baby's features work by sending your inputs — the baby and parent photos you add and the settings you choose — to third-party AI providers that act as service providers on our behalf. We currently use:

  • OpenAI — image generation and editing (age-up portraits, milestone series, the age keyframes of growing-up films and every other picture feature), and content moderation of uploads, prompts and results.
  • Replicate — the platform that runs the video model behind growing-up films and other keepsake videos (Alibaba's HappyHorse video model, accessed through Replicate), so video inputs are processed by both Replicate and Alibaba Cloud as service providers on our behalf.
  • OpenRouter — an API gateway used for short text-generation features such as name suggestions.
  • Google Cloud — authentication, storage and hosting of your generated results.

We do not store the photos you add. Baby and parent photos are processed transiently and are not retained on our servers. Where a video render briefly needs a hosted copy so the model can fetch it, that copy is deleted automatically as soon as the render settles.

What we store: the generated results (portraits and films) so you can view, save and share them, the settings used to create them, and standard account data such as your credit balance. Generated results are deleted automatically 24 hours after they are created.

Model training. We do not use your photos, prompts or results to train any AI model. Under our providers' own terms, OpenAI states that data submitted through its API is not used to train its models, and Alibaba Cloud states that, except as necessary to provide the service, it will not use content you submit to develop, train or improve its AI models unless you separately and expressly consent.

Provider retention. Replicate automatically removes API prediction inputs and outputs approximately one hour after a prediction is created. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs for a limited period (currently up to 30 days) for abuse and misuse monitoring. We do not control third-party retention or deletion practices, and deletion from our systems does not guarantee immediate deletion from a provider's transient systems. We encourage you to review these providers' privacy policies.

By using Age My Baby's features — on the website or in the iOS app, where you agree to this section before your first portrait — you consent to this processing of your inputs by us and by the providers listed above.

6. Data Security

We implement various security measures to protect your personal information, but no system is entirely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

7. International Transfer

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your country or jurisdiction, where privacy laws may differ.

8. Your Rights

You have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data.

9. Data Retention

Uploaded photos are not retained beyond the generation of your result, and generated results are deleted automatically after 24 hours, as described in Section 2. Account information (such as your email address and credit balance) is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Our Service may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites.

11. Children's Privacy

Age My Baby is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes indicates your agreement to the new terms.
